Binx Lost in France Released Today!

Binx Lost in France is out today via publisher Tiny Tree Children’s Books. The brand new picture book from author/illustrator Michelle Hird sees Binx the black cat head off on an adventure through Paris — until he gets LOST!

A book that is as bright and colourful as it is educational, Binx Lost in France was written to help children if they ever find themselves lost, and brings a new approach to teaching little ones about stranger danger.

Binx was SO excited he could sing and dance — he and his family were off to France!

Wandering around the city with glee, he soon realised he’d lost his family. An unexpected adventure — oh, what a mess. Luckily, his senses were up to the test. Thankfully, he’d learned well and knew what to do. And now Binx the black cat wants you to know too!

Binx Lost in France is a story to help children understand stranger danger and what to do if they ever get lost.

Binx Lost in France is the sequel to Binx the Jinx. Released in 2017, Binx the Jinx marked Michelle Hird’s debut as an author. A graphic designer by trade, Michelle is originally from Liverpool but now lives in Essex.

Binx the Jinx received many plaudits upon its release, complementing the book’s bold style and simple, but effective, storytelling.

“[Michelle’s] illustrations are so fun. Simple, bold and colourful with the cutest cats ever”
